the President and Founder of Helios Health Products. Robert has presented at past AMTA-NERC events,

Nathalie Cecelia created Bamboo-Fusion in 2004 and is the original source for bamboo massage in
the United States. She is a graduate of Sarasota School of Massage Therapy and owner of Two Touch
Company, a Thai studio and massage therapy practice. To alleviate the stress on her hands and wrists
from traditional massage, she created a massage routine called Bamboo-Fusion which utilizes bamboo
tools of varying shapes and sizes. Nathalie’s unique modality has been featured in numerous industry
publi-cations such as Massage Magazine, Massage & Bodywork, Spa Management Journal, American
Spa, and DAYSPA.

Nancy W. Dail, BA, LMT, NCTMB has been a professional massage therapist and member of the
AMTA since 1974. She is the foun-der and director of the COMTA accredited program at the Downeast
School of Massage in ME . A leader in her field, she has served on the AMTA national board, numerous
committees, and was the charter President of the Maine AMTA Chapter. Nancy has taught and
presented workshops internationally, is certified in Orthopedic and Sports Massage, and has developed
the working philosophy of Dimensional Massage as lead author in Kinesiology for Manual Therapies
published by McGraw-Hill. Her BA in Health, Arts, and Science from Goddard College helps her balance
her administrative duties as Director with teaching Dimensional Massage, Ad-vanced Skills, Kinesiology
and related subjects at DSM.

Aaron Hoopes has over 25 years experience in Eastern health and fitness traditions. He is the
founder of Zen Yoga and the au-thor of 5 books as well as a deep relaxation program on CD and a
DVD exercise series. His Zen Yoga program is approved by the NCBTMB.

Patrick Ingrassia, LMT, is the founder of the Nayada Institute of Massage and inventor of the
BodySaver Bench. He is a NYS Li-censed Massage Therapist, Thai Massage Therapist & Instructor,
Kripalu Certified Bodyworker, Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher. Patrick developed the
Nayada Method to address the issues with injury and burnout that stop massage therapists from
reaching their potential. Patrick has taught internationally for 20 years.

Karen Kowal is a Registered Nurse, Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and educator. Karen has
designed and developed nu- merous products and techniques for clients in her private practice. Karen
now speaks and teaches on a wide variety of topics in- cluding Complementary Care and Self-Care
techniques. She is the founder of Mother Earth Designs, Inc. and creator of Pillosage® Therapy.

Michael Regina-Whiteley, LMT is a national expert and consultant on providing massage to people
with special needs. He has held multiple positions in the AMTA Maine Chapter, is currently the
Education Committee Chair and twice recipient of AMTA Maine's Meritorious Award. Michael's articles
have been published and his work featured in trade journals and he is a lively and thought-provoking
national educator.

Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa, LMT, NCTMB, DN-C, RH, RC is a nationally certified massage therapist,
nationally certified kinesiologist, state certified dietitian and nationally registered herbalist. He is faculty
trainer for the U.S. Association of Specialized Kinesiologists, senior editor for The Harvard University
Natural Standard and on the faculty at Bastyr University’s College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Khalsa is the author of over 1,500 published health articles and has written or edited 30 books and on
health topics. He has pre-sented over 150 times at national and state conferences and is featured in 3
DVD continuing education courses on massage techniques.

James Waslaski has pioneered a unique approach for the treatment of chronic pain and sports
injuries. With over 20 years experience in the medical profession and extensive work with professional
and Olympic athletes, he has presented at state, national and international conventions. His articles
have been published in magazines worldwide, and he has received many prestigious awards, including
his 2008 induction into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame.
